Ralph F. Steckling

Ralph Steckling, 71, Neenah, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Cherry Meadows Hospice. He was born January 4, 1940, son of Frank and Dorothy (Kolasinski) Steckling. Mr. Steckling was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Ralph was employed at Kimberly Clark as an engineer working with industrial air systems until his retirement. Ralph was a member of the Twin City Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed working on his house, especially remodeling projects. Ralph was a Civil War and World War II enthusiast. Ralph is survived by his daughter, Joan (Richard) Wright, Fond du Lac; grandpet, Lola; an aunt, Marie Kolasinski; cousins: Carol Beckman, Ken Steckling, and Gerald (Lorraine) Kolasinski; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Menasha. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society in Ralphs name. Ralphs family would like to thank Cherry Meadows Hospice and staff, Theda Clark Medical Center and staff along with Mike Quimby aand Debbie Depner for their loving care and compassion.
