<p>Funeral service for Mr. Raymond “Gas Man” O’Neal Marks, Jr., 79 of Ohatchee, will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Wayne Dunaway will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Anniston Memorial Gardens.</p><p>Mr. Marks passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at his home in Ohatchee. He is preceded in death by Raymond O’Neal Marks, Sr. and Rosa Belle Marks; brother, Michael Foster Marks; and daughter, Kellie Marks Middleton.</p><p>He is survived by his son, Brian Marks; grandson, Jeremiah Middleton; great grandsons, Jeremiah Middleton, and Noah Middleton; sister, Sandra Marks Trantham (John) and Kathy Marks Hill; several nieces and nephews.</p><p>Mr. Marks was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He served in the US Army Reserves and retired from the Anniston Army Depot. He was a very proud Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was an avid fisherman and Auburn football fan.</p><p>Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Middleton, Troy Trantham, Matt Trantham, Brandon Hill, Grady Trantham and Anthony Stocks.</p><p><br></p>

Mr. Marks passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at his home in Ohatchee. He is preceded in death by Raymond O’Neal Marks, Sr. and Rosa Belle Marks; brother, Michael Foster Marks; and daughter, Kellie Marks Middleton.

He is survived by his son, Brian Marks; grandson, Jeremiah Middleton; great grandsons, Jeremiah Middleton, and Noah Middleton; sister, Sandra Marks Trantham (John) and Kathy Marks Hill; several nieces and nephews.
