George "Geo" Tellef Jorgensen

George “Geo” Tellef Jorgensen was born on October 26, 1948 in Rockville Centre, New York to

Bertha and Karl Jorgensen. George is remembered as a good man. He was known for his love of

scratch-offs and sense of humor. He had a knack for woodworking and making people laugh.

George loved spending time with family and neighbors and getting together to play cornhole and

cards night. He was patriotic and proud of his service in the U.S. Navy. He also enjoyed the

years he was involved with the Sons of Norway to celebrate his Norwegian heritage. George will

meet his parents and sister Janet in Heaven. He was survived by his sister Carole, children

Jennifer, Thomas, and James, granddaughters Brianna, Summer, and Rebecca, and great-

grandsons Greyson and Ashton. He passed away on November 18, 2022 in Spring Hill, FL.

George’s life was commemorated with military funeral honors and a trinity dove release on

November 28, 2022 at Florida National Cemetery.
