Delmo was born in Jackson County Alabama to William and Pearl Higdon on January 10 th , 1939. He is

survived by his wife Barbara Higdon, 2 children Craig Higdon and Connie (Higdon) Scheufler, son-in-law

Brian Scheufler and daughter-in-law Christie Higdon all of Groveland. He is also survived by 2

grandchildren, Steven Higdon and wife Mia Higdon, Tylor Cofield and wife Liz Cofield and 2 great

grandchildren, Caroline and Alana.

Delmo and Barbara married on July 3 rd , 1956 and moved to Florida. Craig was born in 1960 and Connie

was born in 1967. He worked in the grocery business as well as the citrus industry.

In the late 1960’s he went to Nashville and recorded two songs. His music was a big part of his life. He

enjoyed playing the guitar as well as the piano in a band and in church.

While we know Dad is rejoicing in heaven, he will be missed here on earth. Rest in Peace Dad.
