Mallory Randall Tew

<p>Mallory Randall Tew, Age 53, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at home. He was born October 2, 1969. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Karen Tew; his daughters Elizabeth Williams (spouse: Arri) and Mallory “Mallie” Tew; his grandson Tripp Williams; siblings, numerous nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Mallory was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and teacher. He was a lover of all music from Metallica to Dave Matthews to Garth Brooks. He instilled this love of music with his daughters from an early age; going to the library and checking out different CDs to enjoy on long drives to soccer practices and games. He was an involved father and spent many years coaching his girls' soccer teams at St. Dominic School. When they reached high school, he transitioned from coach to team photographer and captured countless sporting events for McGill Toolen. Over the years, he never missed a game. More than anything he loved being a Pop Pop to Tripp and spoiling him any chance he got. As an undergraduate at the University of South Alabama where he met his wife of 28 years, he was a member of the Gamma Phi Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He is a proud graduate of Auburn University and was a devoted Auburn football fan. He later went on to pursue his Master's degree from USA fulfilling his dream of being a teacher and happily teaching at Council Traditional School for many years.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Ascension Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday from the chapel of Ascension Funeral Home with Reverend Steven T. Williams officiating.<br></p><p><br></p>
