Phillip Berger Obituary

   Phillip Berger Jr., 86, passed away Monday November 14, 2022 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.


   He was born April 3, 1936 in Rochester, NY to the late Phillip Berger Sr. and Mildred. He was proceeded in death by one brother; one sister; and one grandson, Kyle Berger.


   Phillip worked as a carpenter and enjoyed working puzzles. He was also a United States Marine, where he served in Japan. Phil loved sitting on his porch having coffee while watching/feeding the birds especially the hummingbirds or working sudoku puzzles. Other hobbies included jigsaw puzzles, gardening, riding the golf cart around the neighborhood talking to his neighbors and of course his sports.


   He is survived by one son, Phillip (Sherri) Berger of Louisville, KY; stepdaughter Rhonda (Ed) Norris of Springfield, MO; two daughters, Margaret Mary (Mike) LeBlanc of Gardner, MA and Kathleen Maria Berger of Tampa, FL; eight grandchildren; and niece and nephew, Tim (Kelly) Arnett and their children and grandchildren of Greenville, KY.


   Services will be held at the home of Tim and Kelly Arnett at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 19, 2022.
