Webster: Nancy H. Newell passed away November 10, 2022 at the age of 92. Survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, John W. Newell; daughter, Elaine (Bob) Fischer; grandson, Jack Fischer; sister-in-law, Joan (Anderson) Meyer; niece and several nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Doris Hasselwander; and her sister, Jane Tubbs. 

Born in Rochester, NY, she was a graduate of Nazareth College, and worked in the insurance industry alongside her husband. She cherished time with her family, and enjoyed boating and spending summers in the Thousand Islands. She loved animals of all kinds, delighted in feeding her backyard birds and wildlife, and adored the German Shepherd dogs she owned during her lifetime. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Ann’s Cherry Ridge for their wonderful care. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Lollypop Farm or Golisano Children’s Hospital in her name.
