<p>The family of Luigi Soave sadly announces his sudden passing on Saturday November 12, 2022 with his family by his side at TBRHSC.</p><p>Luigi was born April 10, 1931 in Sant’Elia Fiumerapido, province of Frosinone, Italy to Carlo and Giuseppa Soave (Persechini). He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Lydia of 55 years, daughters Anita (Frank), and Lori (Kevin), son Louie (Petra), grandchildren Brandon, Jonah, Zachary, Connor, and his precious fur baby Hershey. Luigi is also survived by sisters Michelle (Pasquale) DiCicco (Boston, Mass), Maria Wazinski, and Antonietta DeDona. Also survived by brothers-in-law William Demidovich (Donna), Boris Demidovich, and several nieces, nephews and other family members.</p><p>Luigi was pre-deceased by his parents Carlo and Giuseppa Soave, mother-in-law Mary Demidovich, father-in-law Harry Demidovich, brother Vincenzo (Judy), sister-in-law Linda Demidovich, and brother-in-law Frank Wazinski.</p><p>Luigi came to Canada in December 1955 as an accomplished Classical Accordionist, soon after opening his music school – Continental Academy of Music. Luigi’s musical talents as teacher, mentor, and musician inspired the lives of many in Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario.</p><p>Luigi’s greatest love and devotion was to his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved everyone and was loved by all.</p><p>Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass in St. Dominic’s R.C. Church beginning at 11:00 am, celebrated by Rev. Michael Mahoney. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church. Cremation will follow the service.</p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TBRHSC.</p><p><br></p>
