<p class="MsoNormal">Walter Edwin Meier 79, born in Sioux Falls, SD departed this life on November 12, 2022. ‘Walt’ Meier, son of the late Harvey<br>& Marion Meier, loving husband of Brenda Shields Meier, he is also survived by two sons, Harvey Meier and<br>Chadwick Feagan (Cecilia), two daughters, Len Meier and Jill Feagan, his five grandchildren,<br>Hailey, Morgan, Ariana, Nicholas, and Jackson.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Walt worked for 40 years in the telecommunications field in VA & FL. Resided in Myrtle Beach SC, member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and a 4<sup>th</sup> Degree Knights of Columbus. He will be greatly missed by family & friends.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">The family will receive friends at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services, 731 Roanoke Ave, Roanoke Rapids, NC on Friday, <o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">November 18th at 12pm, with services 1pm in the Chapel. Father Marlon Mendieta will be officiating.
