Phoebe Tucker Wright Albright 86, of Covington passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, to be with her Lord and Savior.

She was born on March 2, 1936, in Alleghany Co., a daughter of the late McKinley and Della Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in by her first husband, 

Leonard Wright; a son, Ersel Wright; a daughter, Carol Wright; a son, Stephen Albright; and two brothers and three sisters.

Phoebe had worked at the Jane Colby company for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Albright of Covington; four daughters, Kay Long and husband Eddie of Concord, NC, Barbara Crisp and husband James of Bolivia, NC, Stephanie Albright of Miami, Fl and Staci Albright of South Carolina; two sons, Wilson Wright and wife Linda of Lexington, Stanley Albright of Nashville, TN; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.

The interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery.

The family will receive their friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.

The family asks that memorial contributions in Phoebe’s name be made to Mountain Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, Virginia 24422.
