Dorothea “Pete” E. Corner, 83, of Arcadia, Florida, died unexpectedly, Saturday, November 12, 2022 in Florida.

She was born one of fifteen children on December 18, 1938 in Lodi, Ohio to the late Everal and Fannie (Collins) Gammell and has lived in Michigan and Florida for many years.

Pete enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, playing cards and especially loved her “fur babies”.

Surviving are sons, David Brace, Daniel (Nancy) Brace and Dennis Brace; daughters, Dianna (Mark) Cyrus, Sheryl (Anthony) Polise, Sr. and Carol Brace; 16 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie (Roanna) Gammell and Butch Gammell; sister, Darlene (Bill) Owenby; and special niece, Cindy (Denny) Digman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Barb; sisters, Patricia Cool, Geraldine Patterson, Betty Pittman, Penny Hughes, Mary Hartney and Doris Gammell; and brothers, Herbert, Harold, Bob and Gerald Gammell.

Services will be held Saturday, Nobember 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Pastor Chris Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Rittman Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
