<p>Lance Todd Machac, age 27, of West, passed away Thursday evening, November 10, 2022 at his residence.</p><p><br></p><p>A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel recited by his cousins, Devin, Raven, Hannah, Ashlyn and Dylan, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>Lance was born November 7, 1995 in Waco, the son of Marc and Becky (Kapavik) Machac. He attended West schools and was a 2014 graduate of West High School, where he played football and track. Lance was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. He was a welder for Fleetwood Homes in Bellmead. Lance enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking out, shopping on Amazon, and riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes. He loved spending time with Kyndall, Kase, and his dog "Cinch", whom Kyndall referred to as "Smich". Lance will surely be missed by all of his family and friends, especially his loving smile.</p><p><br></p><p>Lance is preceded in death by paternal great grandfather, Raymond Machac; paternal great grandparents, Albin and Ella Macik; maternal great grandfather, George "Popo" Mikeska; maternal great grandparents, Henry and Regina "Memaw" Kapavik; a great uncle, Toby Tobola; and an uncle, Danny Machac Jr.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include his parents, Marc and Becky Machac of West; his brother, Lane Machac and Brailey Sembera of West; his niece and nephew, Kyndall and Kase; his maternal grandparents, Henry "Bobo" and Jane Kapavik; his paternal grandmother, Patsy Berry and husband Bill; paternal grandfather, Danny Machac Sr. and wife Ann; maternal great grandmother, Frankye Mae Mikeska; aunts, Sharon Hlavenka and husband Jon, Paula Kapavik, and Nicole Johnson and husband Scott; an uncle, John Kapavik and wife Jessica; and many other cousins, relatives and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Active pallbearers are Lane Machac, John Kapavik, Devin Allen, Karson Kolacek, Jason Lucien, and J.D. Nino.
