Janet Hoover Peel

<p>Janet Sue Hoover Peel, 69, widow of Billy Wayne Peel, died Saturday, November 12, 2022 in Perryville. Born January 2, 1953 in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Riley and Leta Denney Hoover. She was a retired R.R. Donnelly and Mister Miser employee and a member of the Shawnee Run Baptist Church. She enjoyed coloring on her IPAD, her grandchildren and loved the beach.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include one son: Kevin (Von) Peel of Perryville; one daughter: Susie Newman of Willisburg; two brothers: Jeff (Donna) Hoover and Marty (Deborah) Hoover, bother of Nicholasville; one sister: Donna (Richard) Lewis of Burgin; six grandchildren: Siearra Newman, Hunter Newman, Destin Newman, Jessica Williams, Jacob Kitchen and Ethan Peel and two great grandchildren: Bryson and Wylan Newman.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Hoover.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Shawnee Run Baptist Church with Stacy Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Shawnee Run Baptist Church Cemetery with Steven Litteral, Chris Hoover, Dustin Hoover, Richard Lewis, Rick Kirkpatrick, and Brian Lewis serving as pallbearers and grandsons: Hunter Newman, Destin Newman, Jacob Kitchen, Ethan Peel, Bryson Newman and Wylan Newman serving as honorary pallbearers.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be after 12:00 Noon Friday at the church.</p><p><br></p><p>Alexander &amp; Royalty Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of arrangements.</p><p><br></p><p>To share your memories or to leave a message for the family, please visit www.alexanderandroyalty.com.</p><p><br></p>
