<p>Maureen “MOMO” Foster, (Tierney) of Waltham passed away peacefully on November 5th, surrounded by her loving family.</p><p><br></p><p>Maureen was a lifelong resident of Cambridge until moving to Waltham in 2007. She was a graduate of CHLS class of 1958 and went on to work at Polaroid for many years. After raising her 3 Children she went back to work and retired from the Commonwealth of Mass. She enjoyed the rest of her time in Cambridge caring for kids, which is where she got her nickname MOMO, a name that stuck with her til the end.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her son John and his wife Sonia of Hudson, MA., David and his wife Kim of Norwell, MA., her daughter Darleen and her husband Brad of Waltham, MA., her 7 grandchildren, Hannah, Reannah, Sam, Gianna, Nate, Joshua and Olivia, her brother James Tierney and his wife Elaine of Billerica, and her sister Donna Savoy of Waltham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, In addition, Dorothy Ferguson who was like a daughter to her and her best friend of 76 years Charlotte Potter. </p><p><br></p><p> Family and friends are respectfully invited to pay their respects to Maureen and her family during visiting hours on Sunday November 20th 2022 from 12 Noon to 2pm, with a Celebration of Maureen’s life beginning at 2pm during a Memorial Service in The Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial Chapels, located 773 Moody Street WALTHAM, MA. Parking Attendants will be on duty.</p><p><br></p><p> In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in her loving memory may be made to: </p><p>The LUNGevity foundation. </p><p><br></p><p> “Brasco and Sons Memorial Chapels”</p><p> “ Creating Meaningful Memories”</p>
