Juana Francisca Rivero passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 9, 2022 in Hialeah, Florida at the age of 91 after a courageous battle with cancer. Juana was born in Palmira, Cuba on August 21, 1932  to Avelino Rivero and Esperanza Moreno. She was 1 of 7 siblings, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Juana left Cuba with her family in 1969 to start a new life in the United States. She settled with her family in Georgia residing for many years in Decatur.

Juana is survived by her two brothers Ezequiel Jesus Rivero and his wife Olga Rivero(Decatur, Georgia), Angel Rivero(Hialeah,  Florida), and many nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces.

Florida visitation will be at Caballero Rivero Funeral Home Hialeah on Sunday November 13 from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Georgia visitation will be Thursday November 17 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at A.S. Turner and Sons. A funeral mass will be conducted at the chapel of A.S. Tuner and Sons Decatur, Georgia on Friday November 18 at 1:00 pm, located at 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens located at  3000 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St.Jude Children's Hospital.
