Paul Lynch Obituary

Paul passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, May 16th. He was born in Belmond, Iowa on January 22, 1933 to Guy and Hazel Lynch. His family moved to Bellingham in the 1940's. He was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Carlson and his brother Dave Lynch. He is survived by his wife, Jean, daughter Stefanie and her husband Sean, grandson William, son Robert, daughter Leslie, granddaughter Erin, brother Fred, and numerous nieces and nephews. After graduating from Bellingham High School in 1952 Paul served some time in the Air National Guard, after which he became employed at the pulp mill, where he continued to work until his retirement. After retiring from Georgia Pacific Paul liked to keep busy. He worked briefly at Shuksan Golf Course as well as the Sportsman Chalet. He also worked part-time helping out at his nephew's hardwood flooring company. His passion was woodworking, and he loved maintaining his yard and doing different projects around the home. He also loved getting together with his longtime friends. Paul was loved by everyone he knew. He always had a smile on his face and had great stories to tell. He will be missed by all. As per Paul's wishes, there will be no funeral services. A celebration of Paul's life will be held at the Squalicum Boat House, 2600 N Harbor Loop, Bellingham, WA, on Friday, May 29th beginning at 6:00 p.m.
