Marian Eberly, age 95, of Orrville, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at her residence in Orrville, following a period of declining health.

Marian was born on May 9, 1927, in Massillon, Ohio, to the late Reuben and Minnie (Martin) Horst and graduated from Dalton High School in 1945.  She married Homer Eberly on October 21, 1951. Homer died on January 18, 2016.

She worked as a homemaker.

Marian was a member of East Union Mennonite Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, flower gardening and spending time with her family.  

Surviving are five children, Neal Eberly of Orrville, Marcella (Marlin) Burkholder of Mifflintown, PA, Charles "Chuck" (Elsie) Eberly of Orrville, Donald "Milt" (Carol) Eberly of Orrville and Marilyn (Dwayne) Miller of Kidron, and; fifteen grandchildren, Mike (Janelle) Eberly, Matt (Debbie) Eberly, Dianne (Jeff) Martin, Ryan (Brianna) Eberly, Trisha (Mike) Graybill, Ryan (Emily) Burkholder, Kyle (Joanna) Burkholder, Kevin (Molly) Burkholder, Brad (Katie) Eberly, Grant Eberly, Zack Miller, Derek Miller, Jennifer (Arlynn) Geiser, and Kellie (Ryan) Bucher, and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her five sisters.

Friends may call on Friday, November 11, 2022, at East Union Mennonite Church, 10678 Old Lincoln Way, Orrville, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, at East Union Mennonite Church, with Pastors Lynn Wenger and Matt Eberly officiating. Burial will take place at the East Union Mennonite Church Cemetery in Orrville.
