Winnie Ruth Wooten McMullan, age 59, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at her home in Lake, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Services will take place at 11:00 AM in our Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery in Lake, MS. Bro. Steve Robinson and Bro. Jess Dilley will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Winnie was born to Wilson Davis Wooten and Sherrie Butler Wooten on October 4, 1963, in Orlando, FL. Winnie moved from Jackson, MS to Scott County, MS where she has lived for the past 22 years. She was named after her Grandmother. Winnie loved shopping, Disney World, chocolate and keeping her grandkids. She was a people person and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Winnie is preceded in death by her father, Wilson Davis Wooten; granddaughter, Adyson Ann Lofton. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, James McMullan of Lake, MS; mother, Sherrie Wooten of Lake, MS; daughter, Celia Hawthorne of Lake, MS; sister, Rebecca Wooten McElhenney of Fairhope, AL; brother, Bill Wooten (Cindy) of Olive Branch, MS; seven grandchildren, Leslie Marie Simpson (Brady), Jathen Phillipson, Morgan Phillipson, Drew Hawthorne, Termarcus Hawthorne, Camden Lofton and Olivia Lofton.
