Patsy (Vanek) Cde Baca, age 83, of West, passed away early Monday evening, November 7, 2022 at West Rest Haven.

A rosary will be recited 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by visitation until 4:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant.  Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West.

Patsy was born March 19, 1939 in West, the daughter of Frank and Christine (Kocian) Vanek.  She was a  1957 graduate of Lockney High School.  On February 6, 1960 she was united in marriage to Frankie Cde Baca in Plainview.  Frankie preceded her in death on September 17, 2014.  Patsy was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of America Court #829 and St. Anne Altar Society. She enjoyed working with her many arts and crafts, sewing, cooking, baking, traveling, and skiing with her husband. She loved having family get-togethers and especially cherished time with her grandchildren.

Patsy is also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Greg Cde Baca.

Survivors include her children, Janet Adams and husband Rick of Waxahachie, Diane Sullivan and husband Paul of Southlake, and Michelle Graham of Joshua; a sister, Maxine Maroul and husband Eugene; brothers, Allen Vanek and wife Tappy, and Steve Vanek and wife Ann; grandchildren, Ryan Adams and wife Morgan, Brooke Adams, Kirbi Bain and husband Andrew, Grady Sullivan, Kasey Sullivan, Taylor Graham, Hunter Graham, Justin Cde Baca, David Marshall, and Jane Jackson and husband Steve; great grandson, Grayson Adams; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers are Ryan Adams, Grady Sullivan, Taylor Graham, Hunter Graham, Justin Cde Baca, Daryl Kazda, Gary Kazda and Zach Vanek.  Honorary pallbearers are Kirbi Bain, Brooke Adams, Kasey Sullivan, David Marshall, Jane Jackson and Grayson Adams.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Volunteer Ambulance Association or St. Mary's Cemetery Association.
