<p>Virgil Richard Jones Sr. passed away Friday, November 4, 2022. Virgil was born October 29, 1946, in Butler, MO, to Ed &amp; Roxanne Jones. He married Bertha Loretta Simmons on February 12, 1968.</p><p><br></p><p> He enjoyed riding mules and horses, operating heavy equipment, running a dump truck, and spending late-night mule rides while coon hunting with dogs and his buddies. In his later years, he enjoyed the company of family around him and his dog, Rock</p><p>.</p><p>Survivors included his son, Virgil Richard “Rick” Jones Jr. (Tina), grandkids; Ben Welborn (Morgan), Seth Welborn, Jessica Norwood (Aaron), Dalton Jones (Bri), eight great-grandkids, a sister Elaine Bough (Kyle) of Texas, and a brother, Ray Igou of Oklahoma.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his mother and father, three sisters and four brothers, and a daughter Debora Smith.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
