ALCOVE – Doris M. Dube, 93, passed away peacefully November 2, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Alcove, with her daughter by her side. Doris was born and raised in Plattsburgh, NY where she lived until moving to Alcove 13 years ago to live with her daughter, Ellen Christiana.

             Doris was an avid gardener, she loved to grow vegetables to can and share and the flower garden was a great passion all the days of her life. She spent many hours planting and taking care of her garden even making her own soil mixture.

            Survivors include her children, David Geroux, Barbara Ross, and Ellen Christiana; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Doris Outlived her husband Frank Geroux, all of his siblings and their spouses, her son, Danne Geroux and all of her siblings and their spouses.

           Burial will take place in Plattsburgh at a later date in the summer.
