John Katkavich, 57 of Suffield, passed away, Oct 13, 2022, He was born Dec. 22, 1964 in Hartford to Jeanne Katkavich and the late John A. Katkavich. In addition to camping, John enjoyed fishing amd hunting. Besides his mother, he is survived by companion, Kim Gagnon, his sisters, Barbara Savage and Jennifer Fitzsimmons and her husband, Jim, and his grandson, Gunner. He was predeceased by his son, Jon Katkavich. He is survived by a special person, Karen Costenoble and her husband, David; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews and a niece. He also leaves Pete and the campground family. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Wed., Nov. 9, 2022 at the Bassingers & Dowd Funeral Home 37 Gardner Street, East Windsor, CT. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family prior to the service from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
