Polly Hardin Obituary


Polly Hardin, 86, widow of Eddie Hardin, died Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022 at The Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born September 29, 1936 in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late George Earl and Gracie Blanche Sims Blacketer. She was a member of The Abundant Life Church, enjoyed playing BINGO, walking and listening to Gospel music.


Survivors include two daughters: Vickie (Ernie) Prather of Harrodsburg and Diane (Howard) Wohner of Springfield; four grandchildren: Michelle Garner, Tiffany Adams, Kayla Tinsley and Jared Prather; seven great grandchildren: Darbi, Maleigha, Hayden, Weston, Hunter, Eli, Jace; three great-great grandchildren: Sophia, Silas and Skye; several nieces and nephews also survive.


Polly is predeceased by one sister: Peggy Ruth Taylor.


Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 7th, 2022 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Danny Broce and Jordan Simpson officiating. Burial will be in Peters Cemetery in Mackville with Brad Adams, Ben Tinsley, Jared Prather, Ernie Prather, Kelly Garner and J.R. Taylor serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Darbi Dinsmore, Maleigha Raley, Hayden Adams, Weston Adams, Hunter Tinsley, Eli Garner, and Jace Garner.


Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 7 a.m., Monday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
