Morecy Reginald Jackson was born November 24, 1978, to Felix and Beverly Jackson. He grew up in Temple, Texas, and attended Temple Public Schools. He later moved to Portland, Oregon where he remained until his demise.

He was preceded in death by his father, Felix Jackson; brother, Felix Matthew William Rashad Jackson; his paternal grandparents, Deacon W.D. and Missionary Minerva Turner; maternal grandparents, Elder Morecy and Mattie Williams; and aunt, Gladys Williams Hawkins, affectionately called "Nanee".

Survivors are his mother, Beverly Williams Jackson of Temple; sister, Khara Felecia Jackson of Temple; niece, Londyn Jackson-Ware of Temple; nephew, Jordon Tyrone Miller of Temple; three special cousins, Kimberly Williams, Khaayla Hawkins both of Temple, and Kassandra Hawkins of Fort Worth; and a host of family and friends.
