<p>We are sad to announce the passing of Darla Kay Hill of Sacramento, California at the age of 71 on Tuesday, October 11th.2022. Darla was born on February 12, 1951 to Betty Lou Cornett and Charles Cornett. Darla was raised and loved by her Uncle Ralph Leroy Terry, & Aunt Louise Virginia Kimsey. </p><p>She was born in Ohio. Darla graduated from Lincoln Park High School in 1969 . </p><p> She leaves behind many of her friends and family. </p><p>She is survived by her only child Michael Schave of Sacramento;Two sisters, Brenda Ison and her husband Lynn of Kentucky, Jennifer Prochazka and husband Jeff of Florida; Her sister in-law Sherry Terry of Michigan; Three brothers, Chuck Cornett and wife Karen, Monty Whitefield wife Susan of California; Her Nieces & Nephews, Chris, Chuck, and Craig Terry, Jamie and John Ison; and many other nieces and nephews . </p><p>Two Brothers Kim Terry & William Hughes who are deceased. </p><p>"My mom had an interesting and full life. She was adopted when she was young and separated from her five siblings. Fortunately, with the increase in technology they were ultimately destined to find each other. I was her only child, and she sacrificed a lot in raising me alone. She was proud of her work caring for children as she worked as a bus driver until her retirement in 2011. She didn’t just have a big heart for friends, family, and the community, she LOVED the animals. Especially her dogs ~ Brandy, Rusty, and Riley. My mom was kind and very loving and she graced my life and so many others and will be dearly missed. One thing you can remember or hear in an echo of her voice 'don’t mess with her son or her animals' May she rest in peace." </p><p>Bless the Beasts and the Children in remembrance of Darla Kay Hill. </p>Obituary
