Ronald Marion Moore, of Galveston Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on October 18,

2022.

He was 65 years old.

Ronald, “Ronnie Boy” as he was lovingly called, was a true “Island Boy”. He lived his entire life

on the Island rather than selecting to move. He attended Carver Elementary School, Weis Middle

School and Ball High School. His work history included restaurants, shrimp boats, de-

construction and photography. In his later years, he loved to go fishing and crabbing.

Ronnie leaves to cherish his precious memory; his mother Mrs. Irma Jean Moore, his daughter

Melissa Piggott (Terry), granddaughter Paige, grandson Rayn, and siblings, Norma Jean

Haynes, (Eddie), Glenn Oliver, Michael Moore, (Pamela), Alice Baines, Valarie Jones,

(Timothy), Sandy Moore, Jr., Luevonia Jones, (Lloyd, Sr.), and Richard Kelly. He will also be

remembered by a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Though tears still fall for his passing, joy comes from knowing he’s now at peace with God and

his legacy will continue to live through his family and friends.

The funeral service will be held on November 3, 2022 at St John Missionary Baptist Church,

Galveston Texas at 11:00am. Viewing and Visitation will begin at 10:00am.

The Repast will be at the Firefighter’s Hall 7401 Heards Lane Galveston Texas immediately

following the service.
