Marvin A Waters, Sr.

<p>Marvin Angelo Waters was born on June 11, 1956, in Salisbury, Maryland, to the late David Berton Waters, Sr., and the late Pauline Esther Brown Waters. He was the second son and fourth child of the six children born to this union. On Saturday, October 29, 2022, Marvin transitioned from earth to glory at Maryview Hospital in Portsmouth, Va.</p><p>“Mickey” as he was affectionately known, received his education in the Worcester County Public schools. He attended Stephen Long Elementary School and graduated from Pocomoke High School.</p><p>Upon graduating High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard. During this time, Marvin met and was united in marriage to the former Janice Driver. To this union one child, Marvin Angelo Waters, Jr. was born.</p><p>Upon his return from serving with the U.S. Coast Guard, Marvin worked as a Social Worker with the Worcester County Department of Social Services in Snow Hill, Md. His next work experience fulfilled a “dream” to drive a big truck! Marvin sought and obtained a position with Maersk. He worked there in various positions until his retirement in January 2021.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>He leaves to cherish his memory: spouse, Janice Driver Waters, son, Marvin; grandson Marvin A. Waters III; brother (David); sisters (Jacquelyn, Sharon and Vera); sister-in-law (Sharon) nephews (Timothy, Sean and Travis); nieces (Paula, Tracey, Keia and Stephanie) and many other relatives and friends. Marvin was preceded in death by one brother, Kelvin.</p>

Marvin Angelo Waters was born on June 11, 1956, in Salisbury, Maryland, to the late David Berton Waters, Sr., and the late Pauline Esther Brown Waters.
