Howard Thomas Tennison, age 89, of Buffalo, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and attended Buffalo Baptist Church.  A lifelong mechanic, he retired from Ft. Knox and enjoyed woodworking and antique engines.

H.T. was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert and Marie Rock Tennison and his brother and sister-in-law, Albert Lee and Lucille Warren Tennison.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Jo Uselton Tennison; two daughters, Cheryl (Jerry) Lee of Downs, IL and Nancy (Doug) Lasley of Hodgenville; three grandsons, Adam Lee of Ellsworth, IL, Cameron (Laura) Lasley of Upton and Tanner Lasley of Hodgenville and a great-grandson, Mason Lasley of Upton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. David Waddle officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
