<p>Joan Lombardi England passed away peacefully in Viera, Florida at the age of 79.&nbsp; She was a beloved wife, mother, and “nana” and is survived by her husband of 58 years, Captain Don Rondell England (US Navy, retired); children Greg England (Karen), Kari Cincotta (Thomas), and Cindy Owen (Stephen); grandchildren Isaac, Elias and Quentin Owen, Martin England (Josephina); and great grandsons, Beckham and Hudson England.&nbsp; Joan was born to James Lombardi and Della Bloxham Lombardi and grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol (Lombardi) Mulick, and is survived by sister Diane (Lombardi) Sanford.&nbsp; Joan lived her life to the fullest.&nbsp; She engaged with tremendous success in all manner of crafts from sewing, embroidery, and quilting to ceramics, cake decorating, and painting.&nbsp; She was a talented cook and party hostess who loved Italian food—she made the most delicious spaghetti and meatballs and chicken cacciatore!&nbsp; She always sang along to music (but often made up her own words), and she was Neil Diamond’s number one fan. &nbsp;Joan loved animals and provided a great home to many rescues and other pets.&nbsp; Regardless of where her life as a military wife took her, she bravely conquered each new destination—taking on new jobs with gusto and making friends.&nbsp; She was adventurous, funny, clever, and strong. All of us that knew her are better people because of her influence, love, and generosity.&nbsp; Family and friends are invited to attend an interment ceremony at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery – date and time to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan’s name to the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation, Inc.&nbsp; </p>
