Brian Kyle Creighton Obituary

Brian Kyle Creighton, age 60, passed away on October 26, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. Brian was born on May 14, 1962, to the late Keith and Reba Creighton (Noble) at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Brian was born and raised in Texas, graduated High School from First Baptist Academy in 1980 and went on to attend and graduated from Baylor University in 1985. He then obtained his MBA from Texas A&M-Commerce. Brian met the love of his life, Rebecca, in 1988 while they were working for Blockbuster Entertainment. In 1990, Blockbuster Entertainment took him overseas to live in London while helping open Blockbuster stores in the UK. After returning to the states, Brian & Rebecca reconnected while planning a Blockbuster reunion and married on October 5, 1996. Brian was a financial/data analyst for most of his career and most recently was working with Oncor Electric Delivery Company in Dallas, TX.

Brian was funny, sarcastic and never had a problem making a friend wherever he went. Brian never met a stranger and loved people.  Lifting up and encouraging others made his day.  He was a bible-believing follower of Jesus Christ and strived to serve Him faithfully.  Brian was a strong Christian Conservative that loved listening to Rush Limbaugh and Todd Herman. He was a loving, devoted husband and best friend to Rebecca.  Brian was also a very proud father of their only daughter, Ashley.  Even while trying to be the tough, protective parent to Ashley he always did whatever he could to provide for her needs and many times for her “wants” especially as it pertains to automobiles!

Brian was a Baylor fan through and through. Brian became a master griller even if just for his family, loved history and watching movies. Rebecca will especially miss watching Baylor sports with him!

Brian is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca, living in Red Oak, TX; daughter, Ashley, living in Dallas, TX; brother, Colin Creighton, of Dallas, TX as well as a host of friends and extended family.

Brian wished for his family and friends to celebrate his life, rather than grieve his death.   The family will host a private celebration for family and friends to gather and honor his life at the Creighton’s home. Celebration of Life for Brian on November 19, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm (Come & Go, Visit & Remember his life).
