CHURCH POINT ~ A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at 115 Gouaux Road, Lafayette, LA 70507 for Karen Majella Alleman, age 58, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at her residence in Church Point.

Karen was a native of Carencro, lived in Alabama for 15 years, and was currently a resident of Church Point. After graduating high school, she went on to work many jobs, but her favorite place to be was at KOA Campground as a custodian. She had a huge heart, loved her nieces and nephews, and her family meant the world to her. She also had a fond love of animals. Karen will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her companion, Leroy Louviere of Lafayette; her mother, Adeline “Sis” Schexnayder Alleman of Carencro; a brother, Kirk Alleman (Marie) of Kermit, TX; two sisters, Kim Harper (Earl) of Carencro, and Kelly Trahan (Michell) of Duson; two Godchildren, Lauren Vincent, and Jamie Hutto; and numerous dear nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy “Pa” Alleman; her sister, Katrina Alleman; and her nephew, Dustin Alleman.
