John J. Gillono, age 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 25, 2022. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. John is survived by his beloved wife, Judith (nee Patchet); dear children John F. (Diane) Gillono, Matthew J. (Kirsten) Gillono, Mary (Tom) Tulipano, Mark J. Gillono, Joseph F. (Heather) Gillono Sr. and Luke C. (Jen) Gillono; Judith’s children Jeanne Marie (Myles Kehoe) Melendez and Richard M. Melendez; 15 cherished grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph P. and Rosemary (nee Calzaretta) Gillono. Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 2-7 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544. Memorial service to begin at 6:30 pm.
