Age 89, of Leoni Township, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 at the Henry Ford Hospice Home.  Delores was born in Jackson, Michigan to the late Wayne William and Mary Estelle (maiden-Cole) Frey. 

She is survived by two children, Michael Lee (Bonnie) Henry and Deena Lynn Blair; three grandchildren, Elton (Jenny) Henry, Cale (Krystal) Henry, Leslie Michael (Kristen) Hammett; five great-grandchildren, Skylar, Kaiden, Karson, Ethan and Noah; brothers,  Wayne (Connie) Frey, Tim Frey; sister, Charleen Shelby; many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Henry in 1993; brother, Richard Frey and her step-mother, Margaret Frey. 

She was a graduate of Michigan Center High School Class of 1950.  She worked in housekeeping at the Jackson Florence Crittenton Home for 27 years before retiring.  She and her late husband raced track rabbit cars for many years.  She enjoyed movies, playing cards and was an avid NASCAR fan.  She volunteered at the Jackson District Library and was a Friend of the Library. 

Services will be held at the funeral home Friday, October 28, 2022 at 1:45 pm with Mr. Tim Marsh officiating.  Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday beginning at Noon.  Contributions in her memory are directed to the Jackson District Library, 244 W. Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI 49201.
