Pamela Lynn Peterson, 60, of Grand Island died Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society in Grand Island. Memorial service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Apfel Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Pamela was born on July 9, 1962, in Santa Rosa, CA to Vern and Donna (Nichols) Goodro. She grew up in Grand Island and attended Grand Island Senior High School.

On June 11, 1999, Pamela was united in marriage to Dana Peterson in Grand Island. The couple lived in Grand Island. She enjoyed playing darts, karaoke, dancing, fixing puzzles with her mom, fishing, and camping. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children Catheryn (Erick) Norvell of Grand Island, Rachel Lange of Hastings, Darleen Conley of Austin, TX; grandchildren: Destiny, Desiree, Isiabelle, Dakota, Landon, Gabrielle, Allena, Christian, Sterling, Morgan, Jessie, Olivia, Dalton, great grandchildren: Brinlynn, Damian, Summer, and Symphony; siblings: Marvin (Debra) Goodro, Patricia Scheenen both of Grand Island, Kevin (Teri) Goodro of Omaha, David Barger, Floyd (Pauline) Mills, Vern (Eileen) Goodro, Richard (Chay) Goodro, and Steven Goodro all from Alaska; sisters-in-law: Maxine Peterson, Joanie (Mark) Lovedahl, and Kathy Wilson.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, stepdad, George Peterson; husband, Dana; great grandson, Robert Ramirez, Jr.; brothers: Robert Randall and Jon Michael Goodro; brothers-in-law: Kirk Scheenen and Walt Peterson; sisters-in-law: Lucinda and Laurie Peterson; uncle, Melvin Nichols; nephew, Michael Peterson; niece, Renee Peterson; and great nephews: Damian Pecor, Beau Pecor, and Trevor Sok.
