<p>&nbsp; </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Wanda Faye Logan Jones&nbsp;was born to I.V. and Ella Mae Logan on March 9, 1953, in La Grange, Texas. Wanda age 69 departed peacefully with her 3 children by her side on October 18, 2022, at the Heart Hospital in Austin, Texas. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>Wanda accepted Christ at an early age. Her Faith walk with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was exemplary, she believed in studying her bible which she called the Good Book. She attended Mt Sinai Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor A. W. Anthony Mays. She also frequently attended New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Roy F Jones II with her daughter Irvina. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>When Wanda was 9yrs old, she and her parents moved to California where she later graduated from Castlemont High School. She worked in San Francisco and later met and married her Children's Father Irving Bobby Jones. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>Wanda and her Family including her mom moved back to Texas in 1982. She attended Austin Community College and worked at numerous jobs. She ended her career working for Capital Metro of Austin, Texas where she retired in 2018. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>Wanda's hobbies included sewing, making clothes for others. She enjoyed doing hair and most of all she enjoyed ministering and offering an encouraging word to others. If she could be of any assistance to others she would help down to her last dime. </p><p>She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a special relationship with each one of them. She enjoyed her loving cat that she called Daddy and enjoyed spending time with her special friend Dale Hughes. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>Wanda is preceded in death by her parents I.V. and Ella Mae Logan, Grandparents Roy Rivers and Christina Beasley-Scott, Great Grandmother Elizabeth Cottonwood-Johnson and Aunts Beatrice Sanders and Jackie Robinson. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>Wanda’s precious memories will be cherished by her 3 Children: Daughter Bobbie Renee Jones of Austin, Tx, Son Irving Wendell Jones (Tiasha) of Austin, Texas and Daughter Irvina Faye Jones (Willie Calvin Wilson) of Taylor, Texas. </p><p>14 Grandchildren: Irwin Rodell Jones, Michael Lee Marshall, O’Bryan O’Neal Whiteside, Kaeja Marie Marshall, Aneva LaFaye Alexander, Chardonnay Avione Jones, Kristine Ella Marie Jones, Kristin Elizabeth Faye Jones, Duquesne Kordell Jones, Rayna Joiner-Jones, Jasmine Gabrielle Jones, Irving Wendell Jones Jr, Lilyanna Ty’Ve Batts, and Ivee Eugene Jones. 7 Great Grandchildren: Aedrien Marciel Jones, Penelope Anais Jones, Kaelia Marie Brown, Kyden Lee Brown, Gerren Paul Ellis Jones, Da’Ciyah Willow Lovejoy-Whiteside, and Diecilukas Joel Jones. 1 Aunt Lovie Lee Scott of La Grange, Texas and 1 Uncle Herman Preston of Visalia, Ca. Special Friend Mr. Dale Hughes along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. &nbsp; </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
