<p>Miada T. Elsayed, 20, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Born February 8, 2002, in East Stroudsburg, the daughter of Candace (VanBuskirk) Elsayed of East Stroudsburg and Tarek Elsayed of Stroudsburg.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County, a graduate of Stroudsburg High School in 2020, and a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). At IUP she studied biology and was a sister of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Miada had an extraordinary personality that brought a smile to everyone she came across. She filled every room with love and joy with her sense of humor. She was selfless and wanted to make the world a better place. During her free time, she spent time with those she loved, including her dog Taco, and expressed her creativity through art and music.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Kaci LaBar of Stroudsburg, Gigi Elsayed of Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Yasmeen Elsayed of Stroudsburg; her brother Gregory LaBar of Stroudsburg. Miada is also survived by nephew Mason LaBar of Honesdale, niece Willow LaBar of Stroudsburg, and many loving family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Burial in the Islamic Tradition will be on Monday, October 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg. Islamic prayers will be held at 1:30 at the Stroudsburg Islamic Center, corners of 2nd and 3rd street, Stroudsburg.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

Miada T. Elsayed, 20, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022.
