Arthur Thomas Radford Obituary

Arthur Thomas Radford, 83, of East Windsor, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell in Pennington.

Born in New York, NY, Arthur proudly served in the United States Army for 6 years. He began his career as a locomotive engineer with the Pennsylvania Railroad, eventually moving on to Conrail before retiring from New Jersey Transit after 42 years. If asked which he preferred, he would have told you running the Dinky on the Princeton Line was his favorite. He met the love of his life, Genevieve in 1961, raising their family in East Windsor, NJ.

You could find Arthur in the great outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and, most of all, crabbing with his grandchildren. His greatest joy was his family, spending holidays together, going on cruises, and enjoying trips to Europe. He also dedicated his time as an assistant with Boy Scout Troop #5700 in East Windsor, NJ.

Predeceased by his parents, Thomas B. and Anna Radford and his sister, Verna McDonald; Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Genevieve Radford; his son, Paul Radford and his wife, Jennifer; his daughter, Denise Marusky and her husband, Robert; his son, Christopher and his wife, Juliet; his grandchildren, Paul, Samantha, Alexander, Bethany, Cooper and Chiara; and his many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. David the King RC Church, 1 New Village Road, West Windsor, NJ.

Entombment will follow at Princeton Abbey and Cemetery in Princeton, 75 Mapleton Road, Princeton, NJ.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in the afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and in the evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ.
