<p><br></p><p>RAVENA--- Mary Lou Youmans passed away peacefully on October 19, 2022. She was graciously cared for by St. Peter’s Hospice unit during her courageous battle.</p><p>Mary Lou was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Gurney of Coeymans Hollow and wife to the late Craig Youmans.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;As an active member of the community of Ravena, she was instrumental in the creation of the RCS Community Library. For being so essential in the transformation of the library, she was recognized by the Upper Hudson Library system as trustee of the year in 1994.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Mary Lou lived her years with a dog by her side and a book in her hand. Her children, Barbara (William and Skyelynn), James (Debora, Matthew, and Madison) and Stephen (Robin) would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the St. Peter’s Hospice Care Unit and her many other care takers for their outstanding care and compassion.</p><p>For those who wish to honor her memory please consider making a donation to Community Hospice of Albany, St. Peter’s Hospice Inn, 310 So. RAVENA--- Mary Lou Youmans passed away peacefully on October 19, 2022. She was graciously cared for by St. Peter’s Hospice unit during her courageous battle.

Mary Lou was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Gurney of Coeymans Hollow and wife to the late Craig Youmans.

               As an active member of the community of Ravena, she was instrumental in the creation of the RCS Community Library. For being so essential in the transformation of the library, she was recognized by the Upper Hudson Library system as trustee of the year in 1994.
