Michael Edward Yates Sr., 54 years old of Glen Burnie, MD, passed away on October 16, 2022.

Born August 26, 1968, he was the son of Warren Lee Yates Sr. and Sharon Kiel. Michael was known as an excellent mechanic and loved fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Warren Lee Yates Sr., his sister Sharon Lynn Griffin, his uncle Edgar Matthews and his son, Michael Edward Yates Jr.

Michael is survived by his mother, Sharon Kiel, his children, Kimberly Yates, Amanda Jenkins and Brandon Michael Yates. He is also survived by his brother, Warren Lee Yates Jr. and sister, Lorrie Ann Yates, aunts Gail Matthews, Margaret Matthews, Deborah Walton and Evelyn Riley and his girlfriend, Stephanie Hood.
