Georgie A Freese

Rockport, IN- Georgie A. Freese, 86, of Rockport, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Wellington Parc in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Georgie was born in Richland, Indiana on November 9, 1935 to the late George and Marguarie (Fulks) Collins.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She had also been a member of a home economics club.

Georgie earned her Master’s Degree at Texas Women’s University, worked as a nurse for 52 years and was an instructor at U.S.I. She enjoyed crafts, tole painting, gardening, and cooking and painting with her granddaughter, Hannah.

In addition to her parents, Georgie is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, who passed away in 2017.

Georgie is survived by her children, Laura Gibson and her husband, Cecil; and Robert Freese; her granddaughter, Hannah Freese; and her nieces, Annette and Susan.

Services are 3 P.M. Monday, October 24, 2022 at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana. Burial will follow at James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield, Indiana.

Visitation is 1 P.M. until 3 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
