<p>Nancy Quintenz Basten, age 77 of Aurora, IL formerly Chicago, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 17, 2022 at Accent Care Hospice of Naperville. She was born February 18, 1945 in Chicago to her loving parents, Catherine “Kay” and the late Albert Quintenz.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;Cherished wife of Rick Basten, wedded on September 1, 1985.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;Dearest sister of Bob Quintenz of Punta Gorda, FL, dear daughter-in-law of Jane and the late Dick Basten and sister-in-law of Pam (Bob) Gray, Betsy (Paul) Spokas and the late Barry (the late Karen) Basten.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;Adored aunt of 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 6 great-nieces and 4 great-nephews.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;Nancy retired in 2011 after 40 years as a pension consultant for Union Local 25 SEIU Welfare Fund &amp; Local 25 SEIU Pension Fund. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together which consisting of many cruises and all inclusive vacations to almost all of the Caribbean Islands, Panama Canal, Hawaii, Alaska and many destinations in Mexico. Many family vacations were enjoyed in Florida and Wisconsin. Nancy enjoyed bicycling, kayaking, snorkeling and participating in water exercise classes at the local Healthplex and taking her two kitties Mocha and Bentley for outdoor walks in their strollers. She was a warm, loving, caring person, beautiful inside and out, who never desired to be in the limelight. Nancy Quintenz Basten, age 77 of Aurora, IL formerly Chicago, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 17, 2022 at Accent Care Hospice of Naperville. She was born February 18, 1945 in Chicago to her loving parents, Catherine “Kay” and the late Albert Quintenz. 


 Cherished wife of Rick Basten, wedded on September 1, 1985. 


 Dearest sister of Bob Quintenz of Punta Gorda, FL, dear daughter-in-law of Jane and the late Dick Basten and sister-in-law of Pam (Bob) Gray, Betsy (Paul) Spokas and the late Barry (the late Karen) Basten.
