Bruce Alan Rogerson, 67, died Friday, October 13, 2022, at his residence in Andrews.


Mr. Rogerson was born in Georgetown on October 28, 1954, a son of the late Marion McNulty Rogerson and Maggie Lee Casselman Rogerson.


Mr. Rogerson grew up in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Mr. Rogerson worked for International Paper Company for forty-eight years until retiring in March of this year, he was also a member of the Quarter Century Club. Bruce was an avid outdoorsmen, loving to camp, kayak, boating and following NASCAR, He had a great love for the Great Smoky Mountains which he visited every year. His goal was to visit all of the South Carolina State Parks. He was great handyman, and helped Kris with many projects over the years. Bruce was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all.


Surviving are: a son, Kris Rogerson (Trent) of Columbia, three grandchildren, Margaret, Halen and Ethan, his wife, Nancy B Rogerson of Florence; a step-son, Rhett Browder (Kelly) of Andrews; a brother, Marion McNulty Rogerson, Jr. of Andrews; two sister, Linda Connelly (David) of Andrews and Judy Loadholt (Dennis) of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews.


Graveside services will be two o’clock, Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Steve Garner.


The family will receive friends in the sanctuary of Bethel United Methodist Church from one until two o’clock.
