<p>Alan Kenowski passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, after a brief illness.</p><p>Alan was born in Stevens Point, WI on November 14, 1953, to Henry and Beatrice Kenowski. He attended local schools and enlisted in the U.S. Navy on active duty and later in the Reserves for a total of nearly 20 years. Following his service, he was employed at Altenburg Dairy for many years. Al delivered to schools, stores, gas stations, etc., around the state; he was affectionately known as “Al, the milkman.”<br></p><p>Survivors include his daughter, Susan Kenowski and grandson, Nathan and siblings Steve (Donna) Kenowski, Barb (Eric) Grasamkee, Carol Novack, Marie (Mark) Higgins, Ronald (Joan) Kenowski, Betty (Mike) Viviani, Julie (Joel) Altenburg, Kenneth (Barbara) Kenowski, and sister-in-law Susie Kenowski. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.<br></p><p>Alan was preceded in death by his parents, brothers David and Edwin Kenowski, nephew Joey Kenowski, and brother-in-law Carl Novack.<br></p><p>Al will be remembered as a kind, hardworking, dedicated and trusting soul—always putting everyone else’s needs before his own.<br></p><p>Visitation will be held at Boston Funeral Home (1649 Briggs Street, Stevens Point, WI) from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19. A burial service with Military Honors will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 7 at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.<br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

Alan Kenowski passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, after a brief illness.

Alan was born in Stevens Point, WI on November 14, 1953, to Henry and Beatrice Kenowski. He attended local schools and enlisted in the U.S. Navy on active duty and later in the Reserves for a total of nearly 20 years.
