Larry Michael Teague, 71, of Franklin, TN was welcomed into heaven on October 9, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Chris Teague; daughters, Aimee Calvert and her husband Hugh of Brentwood,TN and Carrie O’Neal and her husband Michael of Cumming, GA; sons, Jonathan Teague and his wife Erica of Medina, TN, and Ben Teague of Jackson,TN. Larry’s pride and joy were his six grandchildren: Reid Calvert, 21; Faythe Calvert, 16; Mary Teague, 16; Silas O’Neal, 15; Anna Teague, 13 and Hudson O’Neal, 13; two brothers, Ricky Teague of Springdale, AR and Roger Teague of Clarksville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Rex and Lila Faye Teague, and his older brother Duncan.

Larry was born on February 25, 1951, he graduated Valedictorian from Hillcrest High School in 1969, Oklahoma Baptist University in 1973, and University of Memphis Law School in 1976. Larry was a man of faith, giving his life to Christ at an early age. He loved the Lord and his Church family. He met his high school sweetheart, Chris, while in Memphis; they married in 1972. He served faithfully as a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Director, and deacon at West Jackson Baptist Church for 20 years and Men’s Small Group Leader and Deacon at Brentwood Baptist Church. Larry served the State of Tennessee for 40 years, retiring in 2018 as a Deputy Attorney General. Upon retirement, he served as a mediator with the Nashville Conflict Resolution Center.

The family will be receiving visitors at Brentwood Baptist Church on October 12, 2022 from 5 - 8 PM.
