Marie Theresa Mills of Bend, Oregon, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, October 3, 2022, at her home in Bend.

Marie was born May 1, 1928 in Bend, Oregon to Maurice and Margaret Murphy. She married Max F. Mills on July 15, 1950.

Marie was a graduate of Bend High School, class of 1946. She was a stay-at-home parent until going to work at the Wagner Mall Liquor Store. Marie worked there for over 25 years and became known by many.

Marie loved her boys, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren more than words could describe.

Marie enjoyed playing bridge with friends and bridge groups. In fact, she played a week before her passing.

Marie is survived by her sons, Max E. (Lori), Marc (Shanda), and Marvin (Kristina). Other survivors include her seven grandchildren; Kristine, Kyle, Kelli, Jinny, Marc Jr., Brooke, and Brandon. Marie also had six great-grandchildren, with another one on the way.
