Richard F. Zukoski, of Port Saint Lucie, Fl passed away October 4th, 2022, after a long battle with dementia. He was born in Waterbury, CT., son of Joseph and Anna (Petrosky) Pettit. 

 Richy retired after 40 years in the grocery store business including being a store owner, butcher, and grocery manager. He enjoyed backyard picnics, spending time with his family, hosting gatherings, fishing, making jokes, Boston Red Sox, New York Giants, and bowling. 

 Richy was a devoted husband, father, brother, and son. In 2001, he relocated with his wife Georgette from Prospect, CT to Port Saint Lucie, Florida following the birth of his grandson. Richy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Georgette (Bouthillier) Zukoski, daughter Michelle (Zukoski) LeFrancois, grandson, Michael LeFrancois; 3 brothers and a sister; Joseph, Charles, James, and Joan along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Ann (Judy) Nelson.
