<p>Mr. Clinton "Buddy" Cornelius Flowers Jr. was born September 21, 1951, in Hickory, North Carolina to the late Clinton C. Flowers and Ruth Williams Flowers. He passed away at Frye Regional Medical Center on October 3, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by one son Clinton Cornelius Flowers III, one brother Gary Dean Flowers, one sister Angela Flowers-Johnson, two brothers-in-law James Johnson and James Scott, and one nephew Jamario Lawrence.</p><p><br></p><p>Left to cherish fond memories is his wife Beatrice Flowers, his daughter Carla (Franklin) Jolly of Hickory, North Carolina, his sons, Aric (Lee Anna) Flowers of Claremont, North Carolina, and Tracy Watts of Charlotte, North Carolina, one brother, Douglas (Rene) Flowers of Durham, North Carolina, three sisters Barbara Diane Flowers of Raleigh, North Carolina, Vicki Scott of Hickory, North Carolina and Norma E. Flowers of Hickory, North Carolina, one aunt Ola Mae Williams of Hickory, North Carolina, eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be on Sunday October 9, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at New Hope Habitat of the Apostolic Faith, 300 Eldred Street, Valdese, North Carolina 28690 with Overseer Pastor E.J. Doughty officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church</p>
