HAVERHILL - Peter S. Majahad, 70, died September 28, 2022, at his home in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Peter was born October 26, 1951, in Medford, MA to Leo and Virginia Majahad. He was a graduate of Winchester High School, class of 1969 and earned a bachelor of science at Suffolk University with a double major in chemistry and math. He went on to complete some graduate course work at Northeastern University. His background in chemistry and math aided in his work in chemical sales, environmental chemistry and as an industrial hygienist at OSHA.

He was a man quick to smile and tell a joke. He remembered the birthdays of all those within his circle. He loved golf and chess and was an avid reader. He loved animals and they loved him.

Peter is survived by his wife of almost 29 years, Carol and his daughters Mercedes Majahad and Daniele Majahad and his brothers Simon Majahad and Joseph Majahad.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. His cremated remains will be placed in the Memory Wall at Linwood Cemetery in Haverhill, MA during a private gathering of family and friends. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
