Deloris Dean Cornett, 81, of Waynesburg, KY passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Danville Center for Health & Rehab in Danville, KY. Born Saturday, February 22, 1941 in Waynesburg, KY to the late Elmer and Viola Clay Alford, she was a retired employee of Lincoln County, Kentucky where she worked as deputy jailer. She loved farming, walking in the woods hunting mushrooms, loved her family.

Survivors include one daughter, Bobbie Jo Isaacs (Chad) of Lancaster, KY; two grandchildren, Josh Alford (Nicole), and Kayla Quisenberry (Eric); four great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Alford (Carolyn) of Harrodsburg, KY; and a sister-in-law, Jane Alford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Wayne Alford; three brothers, Lawrence Perry, Jay Alford, and Norman Alford; and one sister, Dorothy Martin.

A one day service has been scheduled for Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Barnett, Demrow, & FRIEND Funeral Home in Waynesburg, KY. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with funeral service beginning at 1pm. Bro. Josh Pennington will officiate the service with burial following at Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg, KY.
