Mary Berg
<p>Berg, 100- a lifelong resident of Ossining passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Mary was born on August 28, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Centrella) Carosella.</p><p>Mary was lifelong communicant of St. Augustine’s Church in Ossining where she received all of her sacraments and was married to James Berg on April 15, 1942. She was a graduate of the former Mary Immaculate High School, in Ossining. She was a retired senior clerk at the Ossining Public Library where she worked for 42 years until her retirement.</p><p>Mrs. Berg is survived by her daughter Claire; her sister-in-law Marilyn Carosella; her Nieces and nephew , Susan Rummel, Chris Carosella, Angela Schacht, John (Karen) Schacht and Margaret Trojak. She was predeceased by her husband James on June 17, 1999, her son Jimmy, her brother Peter. and her sister Grace .</p><p>The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. Augustine’s Church in Ossining., The interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery in Ossining.</p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 1 Huntington Quadrangle, Suite 3N06, Melville, NY 11747, would be appreciated, https://www.cff.org/donate</p><p><br></p>Obituary
